§12025.
Answer to Petition.
Written notice to the respondent, requiring
him to answer said petition within 20 days from
service thereof, shall be served upon the respondent
at the time of service of said petition to determine
controversy.
Within 20 days from, and after service of the
petition to determine controversy, the respondent
in said proceeding shall serve and file an answer
thereto, setting forth the defense and any claims
of said respondent. Said answer shall be signed
by the respondent or a person duly authorized
to act for said respondent.
