§13631. Recordkeeping.
Every
employer engaged in the business of garment manufacturing
shall keep accurate records as required by Labor Code
Sections 226 and 2673, any applicable order of the Industrial
Welfare Commission, and section 13659 of this subchapter.
These records shall be maintained for a period of no
less than four years, unless otherwise specified, at
the place of employment or at a central location within
the State of California, and shall be made available
to the Labor Commissioner, or his or her agents, upon
request for inspection and/or copying. Failure to provide
these records to the Labor Commissioner within ten days
of the date of request, or providing records that have
been falsified, shall constitute grounds for revocation
of registration or denial of an application for registration.
