§12026.
Setting and Notice of Hearing.
In a proceeding for the determination
of a controversy, either party, after service
of petition and filing of the answer, or, if no
answer has been filed after the 20 day period
set forth in California Code of Regulations, Title
8, Section 12025, may file with the Labor Commissioner
a Request for Setting of Hearing; said request
for hearing shall include a certificate of service
by mail on the opposing party. Thereafter, the
Labor Commissioner shall give notice of the time
and place of hearing to each of the parties, using
first-class mail.
