ARTICLE 2. APPLICATION PROCESS

s 5420. Importance of Grant Funding.
(a) The application shall discuss the importance of the grant
funds for
the viability of the project.
(b) The application shall describe other potential sources
of funds for
the requested amount of the grant. The application shall indicate
whether
any of these sources have been approached and have refused
funding. The
application shall indicate the result to the project if grant
funds under
the program are denied, postponed, or given in reduced amount.
(c) Projects indicating that they cannot proceed without
the requested
grant shall be deemed more likely to further the program goal
in
subsection (a) above, in connection with the agency staff
review pursuant
to Section 5425(d)(1) and (2).
