s 51014. Approval of New Colleges and Educational Centers.
(a) The governing board of a community college district planning
the
formation of a new college or educational center shall obtain
approval for
such college or educational center from the Board of Governors.
Approval
shall be obtained before classes begin at the new college
or educational
center.
(b) The provisions of Subchapter 11 (commencing with Section
55825) of
Chapter 6 shall govern the approval of new colleges and educational
centers.
