(a) The institution shall reimburse the Council for expenses incurred by
the visiting committee, except for Council staff, conducting the onsite
visit at rates not to exceed those used by the State for reimbursing State
employees on work travel assignment.

(b) No later than 30 days before the visit, the Director shall submit to
the institution an estimated cost of the visit. The institution shall pay
all of the estimated cost 15 days before the visit. If the deposit is not
received by the deadline, the Director may cancel the visit and require
that the institution submit a new application and application fee.

(c)(1) Within 15 days following the conclusion of the visit to the
institution and all sites scheduled to be visited, the Director shall
provide the institution with a statement of the actual expenses of the
visit.

(2) If the deposit was greater than the expenses incurred for the
visit, the Council shall remit the excess within 30 days following
the visit.


(3) If the costs exceeded the amount of the deposit, the
institution shall remit the balance within 30 days after receiving
the statement of expenses. The time period within which the Council
is required to act on the application shall be tolled until the
balance is received by the Council. If the balance is not received
by the deadline, the Director may require that the institution
submit a new application and application fee.
