(a) Possession of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent shall be required
for admission into post-baccalaureate degree programs. The institution
shall document that alternatives to a bachelor's degree accepted by the
institution are equivalent to a bachelor's degree. If a graduate program
leads to a profession or an occupation requiring state licensure and the
licensing agency does not require that the members of the profession or
occupation posses a Bachelor's degree or or its equivalent, this
subsection does not apply.

(b)(1) No more than six graduate semester units or the equivalent in other
units awarded by another institution may be credited toward a Master's
degree.

(2) An institution may accept transfer credits only from the types
of institutions of higher learning described in Section 71850(b)(1).

(c) No more than 30 graduate semester units or the equivalent in other
units awarded by another institution may be credited toward a doctoral
degree. This subsection does not apply to graduate programs which lead to
a profession or an occupation requiring state licensure where the
licensing agency has a regulation permitting a different standard.

(d) No more than 25 percent of the units required for graduate degree
programs may be awarded for a final product such as a thesis,
dissertation, or product.

(e) Dissertations, theses and other products submitted by students as part
of a graduate program shall be signed by all faculty members recommending
the student for an award of a degree.
