s 433. Allowances for Full- and Part-Time Students.

Full-time students are allowed expenses for tuition, other fees, and a
monthly allowance for books, supplies, and living expenses. Part-time
students shall be allowed expenses only for tuition, other fees, books,
and supplies. A full-time student is one who is enrolled for at least 12
semester units or the equivalent, except that dependent widows having
minor children under their care may be enrolled for 9 semester units or
the equivalent. Allowances may be adjusted according to availability of
funds, and no allowance may exceed the maximum rate authorized under
Section 69566 of the Education Code.
