s 442. Appeals; Appellate Authority.


Applicants who disagree with a denial of benefits or a termination of
benefits shall first appeal the decision to the Chief, Division of
Veterans Services. The appeal must be received in the Division within 90
days of the date of the letter which notified the applicant of the denial.
Appeals must be in written form, stating the specific reasons why benefits
should be granted, and mailed to: Chief, Division of Veterans Services,
California Department of Veterans Affairs, 1227 "O" Street, Sacramento, CA
95814.
